Jacqui Williams is Founder and CEO of Coattails Productions. Her lifelong commitment to economic development and connecting communities to power comes from her decades of experience and expertise in government relations as a lobbyist for the State of New York. Williams’ passion for her work shows. Called a “rainmaker” in New York politics by The New York Times, Williams is consistently named among the top Powerbrokers in New York politics.
An entrepreneur since 2009, Williams is Founder and CEO of 99 Solutions, LLC, a full-service governmental affairs firm in Brooklyn, New York. At its launch, Williams was one of the first Black-women lobby firms in the state. Always a powerful advocate for her clients’ goals, Jacqui is equally passionate about creating economic opportunities for people, businesses and communities that have been historically under-resourced. Throughout her journey in government relations, Jacqui has demonstrated a critical understanding of the importance of public-private partnerships and how they can be utilized to all parties’ benefit.

Jacqui is a visionary and philanthropist and currently sits on the board of Moving Mountains, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people through the arts. She has also served Community Board 3 in Brooklyn and chaired the Economic Empowerment Committee of the Brooklyn Chapter of the NAACP. Other board work includes: Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, Horizons at Brooklyn Friends, the NY Urban League, The Black Institute and Coro New York. She currently is a trustee on the Citizens Budget Commission.
Williams has received many awards for her lobby work and community service. She retains strong relationships with chairs of various Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, religious, civic and community leaders. Jacqui is a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Roxanne Jones, Executive Producer at Coattails Productions, brings her passion for storytelling and engaging audiences to the firm along with decades of success in the media industry. Jones has more than 20 years of Corporate success, creating, producing and monetizing linear and nonlinear media content over every screen and platform, from newspapers, magazines and radio to television and digital platforms. Founder/CEO at the Push Marketing Group, a media strategy firm, Jones is a widely-read CNN opinion columnist/commentator, focused on politics, women’s equality, social justice and sports.
Jones has been a trusted radio voice for decades. She talks politics, national news, sports and culture weekly on Philadelphia’s WURD 96.1FM/900AM, Pennsylvania’s only Black-owned & operated radio station.
She is an award-winning media executive, author, Emmy-nominated executive producer and a founding editor of ESPN Magazine. As a senior executive and the first Black woman promoted to Vice President at ESPN, where she spent nearly 15 years, Jones hired, developed and led content and production teams that shaped engaging content across TV, print, online and digital platforms to drive audiences and bottom-line revenues. In addition, she served for several years as Vice President/Publishing, overseeing and monetizing branded original content and identifying new ad revenue streams abroad, working in Milan, Italy.
One of her biggest accomplishments at ESPN was launching the original concept for the nation’s most watched morning sports talk show: “First Take,” (then titled “Cold Pizza”). Over her tenure, many of her content concepts went on to become lucrative franchises.
Roxanne is committed to informing and empowering communities across underserved communities. She is a lifelong LGBTQ+ advocate & ally, and a former Co-chair of GLAAD. Jones was among a select few advocates invited to participated in President Obama’s White House briefings on LGBTQ+ issues in African American communities. Her work has helped to set the national narrative around many LGBTQ+ equality and legislative policies. She is fluent in Spanish and served as a US Delegate on a cultural literacy mission to Cuba.
Roxanne is a former Board of Trustee at St.-Mary-of-the-Woods College. Her other board work includes: the National Association of Black Journalists, Little League Baseball and Softball, International Rotary Club and The JimmyV Foundation.
Jones has dedicated her career to creating pathways to success for others, professionally and personally. She has mentored some of the biggest names in media today. And those efforts have been nationally recognized. Her many accolades include: Trailblazer Award from 100 Black Women, Sportswoman of the Year by Women in Sports and Events.

Shevonn Howard is Senior Coordinating Producer at Coattails Productions and she is the heartbeat that keeps the firm going. Howard oversees all operational and logistics management for the firm ensuring every project meets our highest standards. Howard is responsible for overseeing production crews, logistics and client management solutions. Shevonn also works directly with the Executive Producer and CEO and is onsite at every Coattails production.
Shevonn began her career as an entrepreneur working in the event management sector. And for the past 13 years, she has worked in government relations at 99 Solutions with our CEO Jacqui Williams, where she is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the fast-paced, New York lobby firm. Howard handles client management, scheduling, logistics and works to ensure the firm meets all state compliance regulations.
Shevonn is a relationship builder with a keen eye for detail and a devotion to keeping our clients happy. A native New Yorker, Howard has deep ties to her community. She specializes in working with nonprofit organizations to help them restructure, develop a strong donor base, and extend their reach. Howard’s extensive nonprofit work includes partnerships with Moving Mountains and the New State NAACP.
